How to Make Jello Shots

Asking your crush out on a date, growing out a bad haircut, eating a salad, these things are difficult. Making jello shots? This is not difficult. What some may find overwhelming to make for their own house party, jello shots are literally the funnest and easiest task you can undertake for your next get together. All you need is jello mix, your liquor of choice (vodka works very well), water, and shot glasses. If you want to keep your budget down you can pick up a 100 pack of small paper Dixie cups at the dollar store that work just fine! So turn on the tunes, grab your-pre game beer, watch the video below, and get to making those shots, you jello expert.

To make jello shots, start by boiling one cup of water. Pour the dry gelatin mix into a large measuring cup, one with a handle & a spout for pouring. When the water is boiling, remove it from the heat, and stir it into the gelatin mix. You’ll need to stir it for a couple of minutes, at least, because you want it fully dissolved.

Once it’s completely transparent & smooth, add one and one-quarter cup vodka. Don’t add any more than this, or your jello shots won’t completely firm up. After you’ve thoroughly stirred in the vodka, fill a tray of individual shot glasses, trying to keep them as even as possible. Put them in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 6 hours.

The next day, you’ll have awesome jello shots ready to start the party off right!
