This was a gift from my husband, who knew I had been wanting an aerator for a while. Now, I don't pour a glass of red without it. I did a taste test with some friends and we were honestly amazed at how it made an inexpensive bottle of Merlot better than a $45 bottle I had splurged on. I've been using mine for over a year. I'm also glad he bought the stand, too. Cleaning is a breeze, just rinse and set aside to dry after each pouring.

BOTTOM LINE: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
