Since we drink a lot of wine we really wanted to see if the aerator would produce the same quality product as using a decanter and to our surprise, it did! Aerating the wine makes it taste so much better and you don't have to use a decanter (which can be a pain to clean). I love that you put it right on the bottle and aerate one glass at a time. We gave one to my father in law, who likes expensive wines and he loves it too! It's lightweight and small so you can take it anywhere you want to enjoy a bottle of wine. Not only did it look great (sleek and modern) and have a great price, it also worked great. It instantly opened up the flavors of the wine and I could tell a huge difference right from the get go.
I loved it so much I had to get one for my parents, and with it's ease of use I couldn't think of a reason not to recommend this product. The only thing that I learned very quickly was that you have hold the bottle at a fairly steep angle in order to initiate the maximum mixture of air.
