I remembered a day when we were visiting my daughter and son-in-law when he said that my steak may not be med-rare because he did not have a way to tell. When I saw this I knew it would be perfect for him to get all the steaks cooked to everyones liking. This became the perfect Christmas Gift.

I use it on all BarBQued and Oven baked meats. It even works well with 1/2 inch thick steaks and chops. I was not aware how uneven the heat is on the various positions of a grills cooking surface. For best use of grilling surface the Steak Station needs to be near the center of the front of the grill. I've silicon glued magnets to the backside of the Steak Station so it stays wherever I put it on the grill front near the burner control knobs.

BOTTOM LINE: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
