We purchased these for our church fellowship dinners after having seen them in use at another function. We liked the fact that they were acrylic, not glass, and that you can cool the contents without watering it down by placing ice in the prescribed area. We also like the fact that there is a base that elevates the spout which allows one to easily place a glass under it. While we haven't used them yet we feel confident we will be pleased with their operation.

BOTTOM LINE: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I bought three of these. My family had a 40th wedding anniversary party for my husband and me and my daughter borrowed beverage dispensers from a friend of their church and used them for our party. It was done so elegantly and nice. Comments were made on how nice everything looked and the dispensers were commented on a few times. I decided to buy 3 and give one to my daughter, and my 2 daughter-in-laws for Christmas presents so they have their own. And if one of them needs more than one dispenser for a party, etc they can borrow from the other two. They do not know yet, that I was able to find these. They commented that they wish they had one at the party and I decided to get on line later and see if I could locate some for gifts for them. This was the ONLY company that I could find these at. The other dispensers that I found all had to have the ice added to the drink. I did not like that as it dilutes the drink so much. This is a great dispenser to keep it cold and not dilute the drink as well. I am very happy to have found 3 and I am anxious for Christmas to come to give them as gifts. Thank you! N. Wagner
