Wondering just how long they stay cold, and if they change the flavor at all?

They do not change the flavor at all. How long they stay cold depends on how warm the beverage is and how much beverage there is in the glass. They do not seem to be as cold as real ice cubes but they definitely chill down a nice scotch a few degrees without diluting it a bit. If you are looking for a little chill they are fine. If you want ice cold I'd stick with real ice.

Not really sure. They were actually a gift for someone else. I believe he loved them though.

Flavor doesn't change. Stays cold similar to ice cube of about twice the size.
