| | | Passing the Bar Board Game Review Comments: | | | The actual flashcards are useful, but the rules of the game need to be tweaked a bit. As it is, the rules make a player answer the same category over and over until s/he gets one right. This makes the game take forever for some people who are weak in, say, Property.
Also, the rules don't let you roll again immediately if you get a question right. (The opposite of how Trivial Pursuit works.) We changed that rule mid-game and it seems to flow much better.
Then again, if you're looking for hours of bar review, the instructions as they are will work.
The game came with a 2-minute timer, but there's no reference to the timer in the rules. We didn't use it because it didn't seem necessary. | | | BOTTOM LINE: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. | | |
