I gave this to my girlfriend as an anniversary gift and she absolutely loves it! She's the resident amateur bartender in our house and this set is perfect because she likes to make drink and likes science! The top to the shaker came broken but I used to online chat and they sent me new one within week.

This was a gift and the recipient loved it when he opened it but then he was very disappointed when he used the shaker. It is made of very light plastic causing it to come apart when you shake it. So if you want it just for show it's great. The recipient said he will keep the set but is getting a better shaker to add to it.

BOTTOM LINE: No, I would not recommend this.

Nice set but shaker is chrome plated plastic and it was chipped and not in very good conditon when received. This is not a good item in the set and does downgrade it.

shaker is not stainless steel or even metal, its painted on silver and dishwasher takes it right off. Other wise the set looks cool. More for novelty than real bartending.
