This dart board what beautifully hand painted. Clearly nice craftsmanship, heavy, solid wood. We have not connected the dart board yet so I can't comment on assembly. My only negative comment would be the processing time. It's understandable due to the hand painted customization, but I was hoping to give it for a birthday and it took over 3 weeks to arrive. So as long as you leave yourself enough time this is well worth the money!

BOTTOM LINE: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
