This is a nifty cocktail shaker. For anyone shaking a cocktail, hands can get cold on the conventional metal shaker. This one has a nifty strip of fashionable red fabric (leather?) that nicely insulates your mitts from the cold. Very groovy. However, when rinsing this unit, I always wonder how/if I can get the fabric wet without harm or foul. Undoubtedly, instructions allude to this ... and I simply failed to notice. That singular concern aside, I highly recommend this piece.

BOTTOM LINE: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
